We are proud to be in a position to help local children's nursery 'Paper Moon'
Paper Moon Day Nursery was established in 1990 and we still continue to provide a reliable and trustworthy childcare service to local families. They work closely with all of their parents and have built up an enviable reputation for service over the last 29 years. They provide full and partial day care in a cosy yet stimulating environment. Parents tell them that their nurseries are very welcoming and provide a "homely" environment.
At the Lincoln Doddington Park setting, they have been utilising the cable reels from us to enhance their provision. Following on from conversations with the children, and observing them in their play, They have provided them with materials that will help scaffold their learning, this may be the children decorating them themselves to follow on from a specific interest such as cars or animal habitats, or merely leaving some plain to see what the children do for themselves. So far, they have used them as fairy gardens, roadways, animal habitats, welly boot holders, tea party tables, and added some to our construction area where the children have enjoyed exploring them for themselves, making ramps, bridges, seesaws and some fantastic buildings. we are also planning on putting some reels outside to make a seating area in our meadow.
The staff expressed to us, that they are extremely grateful to Greenstock for providing us with the reels free of charge.
