New EU rules mean that traditional incandescent bulbs are being phased out and replaced by compact florescent lamps.

Greenstock manufacture a full range of traditional bulbs in long life versions. These lamps have been used for many years in commercial applications with more than 10 million being sold over the last 17 years.

If you do not like the new fluorescent lamps now is the time to invest in a traditional bulb but with long life.

Using fewer lamps means less have to be discarded, which has obvious advantages for our environment.
 
Also the economics make sense. The real cost of a Greenstock lamp is its purchase price divided by its extended life. For example, the comparative cost of a Greenstock GLS is
one sixteenth of the purchase price.

The EU rules mean our lamps will also be phased out so stocks are limited. Our 100Watt bulbs are still in stock.
